History

Built in 1921, this building was originally home to the South Side Bank before merging with Liberty Bank in 1929. It continued as a bank through various mergers until 2006. Architecturally inspired by Louis Sullivan's "jewel box" designs, it showcases Art Nouveau terracotta ornamentation on a Neoclassical base. Acquired and repurposed in 2017, the building reflects a commitment to revitalization and preservation, central to South Buffalo’s cultural renaissance. With its stained-glass windows, terrazzo flooring, and original vaults intact, the space offers a perfect blend of history and modernity for a unique venue experience.
