Jimmy Vivino (aka Jimmy V) is a renowned guitarist, musical director, and bandleader with over five decades of experience in the music industry. Best known for his 26-year tenure as musical director and guitarist for Conan O’Brien, Jimmy has long considered himself “a blues man with a job.” His storied career spans countless collaborations with some of the greatest names in rock and blues.
Jimmy’s extensive resume includes producing, leading bands, and recording with legends such as Hubert Sumlin, Warren Haynes, Joe Bonamassa, Elvis Costello, Levon Helm, Shemekia Copeland, Dion, Phoebe Snow, John Sebastian, and Al Kooper, among many others. His work has cemented his reputation as one of the most respected figures in blues and rock.
When he’s not touring or recording with other artists, Jimmy hits the road with his own band, bringing electrifying performances to stages around the world. His latest record, Gonna Be 2 of Those Days, is set to be released in early 2025 on Gulf Coast Records.
