Join us for a special evening of music, community, and support to help fund the 11th Annual BAND Against Bullying Program, happening on Tuesday, April 8, at 7:00 p.m. at the University at Buffalo’s Center for the Arts.
About BAND Against Bullying
Founded in 2012 through a collaboration between M&T Bank, The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) – New York Branch, and the University at Buffalo’s Alberti Center for Bullying Abuse Prevention, BAND Against Bullying is dedicated to preventing all forms of bullying—physical, verbal, indirect, and cyber—to promote dignity for all.
Each year, schools from across Western New York participate, using various forms of art to creatively illustrate Dignity Awareness. Student performances showcase exceptional talent and collaboration while promoting bullying prevention. The event also raises funds to support anti-bullying initiatives, participating schools, and the continued development of the BAND Against Bullying Program.
Proceeds from this benefit concert will help offset costs for:
✔ Venue and production fees
✔ Student trophies and incentives
✔ Merchandise and promotional materials
✔ Bullying prevention training and resources for schools
