When she’s not touring with 10,000 Maniacs, Mary Ramsey brings her talents home to Buffalo with Mary Ramsey & Friends. Joined by JazzBuffalo Poll Winners Stu Weissman (guitar) and Ed Croft (upright bass), along with Dr. Marc Rosen (guitar), this ensemble delivers a rich blend of jazz standards, Latin and gypsy jazz, pop, folk, and even a touch of classical. Jen Mulhern, aka Jenuine Cello, is a modern one-woman band from Texas, blending classical influences with raw, eclectic sounds. A graduate of Texas State University in Music Performance, Jen expands her classical roots through composition, songwriting, and improvisation. Using a looping pedal, 6-string electric cello, and self-made beats, she creates a symphony of layered sounds, drawing from Bach, Blues, Reggae, and EDM. Her music is a soulful, spontaneous journey that captivates audiences and stirs deep emotions.
