Jake Schneider is a multifaceted singer-songwriter and artist whose musical journey began in the 1970s, fueled by a passion for acoustic guitar and the raw energy of classic rock and blues. He has honed his craft in diverse venues across Europe—from Amsterdam to Paris—and on stages throughout Western New York, including The Tralf, Babeville (Asbury Church), and The Buffalo Convention Center. Jake’s songwriting delves into themes of love, loss, and resilience, characterized by honest, thought-provoking lyrics. His discography includes In Search of Landaleigh, Time on Our Side, and When August Came in Spring.
Beyond music, Jake is an accomplished painter working in oil and watercolor, a published author (Currents of Change), and a celebrated architect and developer. He is the majority owner of The Caz, Buffalo’s newest live music venue, and The Show, a 500-person event center, both located on Seneca Street in South Buffalo, NY. Recognized as a leader in his community, Jake has been featured on The Buffalo Business Journal’s Power 250 list since its inception in 2013.
