Founded by Louis Albert “Ramblin’ Lou” Schriver, an inductee of the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame, The Ramblin’ Lou Family Band is WNY’s First Family of Country Music, carrying on a rich musical legacy spanning generations.
Now led by Linda Lou Schriver, a 2013 Buffalo Music Hall of Fame inductee, the band continues to bring authentic country music to audiences across Western New York, Nashville, Branson, and beyond. A talented multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter, Linda has performed on Jamboree USA, recorded in Nashville, and shared the stage with country legends like Reba McEntire, George Strait, Loretta Lynn, and George Jones.
The Ramblin’ Lou Family Band has been a staple of the Erie County Fair for over 50 years, and their contributions to country music continue through WXRL-AM 1300, the family-owned classic country radio station founded by Ramblin’ Lou himself.
With deep roots in American country music, this legendary family band keeps the tradition alive, celebrating a legacy of hard work, dedication, and timeless country sound.
